Strawberry Pineapple Fruit Cup

Prep time:  20 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1  whole pineapple

  • 1 pound strawberries 

  • Snack-sized glass or plastic containers (or ziplock bags)

 

DIRECTIONS

Most store-bought whole pineapples need to sit for a few days or even a week before they are ripe. Plan accordingly.

When your pineapple is ripe, purchase your strawberries.

Cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks.

Wash the strawberries and cut them in half or in quarters.

Place enough pineapple and strawberries for the week into snack-sized containers, and refrigerate.

Tip: We live in a grab-and-go society.  These little fruit cups make it easy to have a healthy snack.
